| First of all I want to thank the following people.
Members of the team at Reading Buses: James Freeman (MD of Reading Buses), Mike Russell (along with his RM), Adam Conner and Keith Pauline drivers who aided in moving vehicles for us. Also to Ensignbus Bob Stranger for transporting us from London to Reading. And finally Trevor and his son for looking after us demanding folk. While the weather was kind to us and another sequence of events was occuring the tough call was made and sticking to Reading was the best option. Sadly the original bus RMA58 gave us trouble which was subbed which arrived at Reading two hours late. A quick visit to the depot with vehicles moved at our request (as some illustrated). Then to proceed on one of the routemasters which served Reading's streets, Mike Russell's Routemaster RM999. Running on the line of some of the routes with some photo opportunities. Rather than shoving all the depot pictures I have placed the vehicles of significance. |
