From mark marten at 2008-03-12 09:18:52 : I know we sometimes complained The Leyland National was noisy but compared to the very irritating Dennis Dart they were wonderful. The Leyland National did have some critics,but in general it did a very good job. I find the Dennis Darts to be very lightweight and flimsy.I think after 10 years service the Leyland Nationals held up well,Dennis darts seem to be disposable like everything else these days! The Leyland National was not perfect but it was better than the junk we get today! So much for progress!!
